Virginia’s Bridal Portrait

I love how Virginia’s portraits turned out. This was in the the ceremony room at Lawton Estates in Garland, Texas and it was unbelievably dark. Thanks to Nikon CLS (creative lighting system) and my RadioPoppers for reliability. The Radio Poppers are a must have item for a wedding photographer. The off camera flash was on a small C-clamp attached to a lamp on the wall to Virginia’s left.

Beautiful Erin in Lake Granbury Texas

Erin was such a lovely bride to work with. These are some of my favorite portraits of her from her wedding in April.

Congratulations Fred and Hanna

Fred and Hanna’s wedding was yesterday and it was so peaceful and beautiful. Here are two of my favorite shots of Hanna before the ceremony.

New York Destination Wedding of Amy and Adit

This weekend I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Adit and Amy Nathan in New York City.  It was a great trip and a thrill to be around a family full of so much fun and energy.  Here are a couple of nice captures of Amy and Adit.

Adit and Amy, I hope you’re having a great time on your honeymoon!

Simplicity

Occasionally when the shutter clicks you know you have captured an image that is complete.

This photograph may not be an award winner but to me it is such an image.

Wedding Dance

This is a dance shot from a wedding this weekend at the Four Seasons in Los Colinas. I love the dark intimate tone of the shot.  I shot this on my D300 with the ISO pushed way up so that I could capture the mood.

Curves

curve.jpg I really enjoyed the light of the green wall.  The photo shows the detail  of her dress in a subtle and abstract manner.
