Image Series-Bridal Party on the Lake

When the actual wedding photography slows down I’m always racking my brain to find something to post. It hit me yesterday…that’s unbelievably silly. I have stacks of hard drives full of images that I just love to show.

This is the first post in my new “Image Series.” I’ll be going through older weddings and picking single favorite wedding photographs to talk about.

This was from Lua and Kory’s wedding in August of 2008. It was a great day for me…it was the day we found out Lee was pregnant with Sydney. There wedding day was also on my parent’s anniversary. August 31st…a great day! It was 100+ degrees at the lake house in Tyler Texas for the wedding, but everyone in the bridal party was super cool. There was no hurrying after the ceremony and the wedding photography we made are some of my favorite. This picture of the girls on with their different colored dresses is often featured on the front of my web site. It will always be a favorite of mine.

I don’t think that I’ve ever posted any shots of the bridal party from the front. Here’s the other side.

    These are really cool. I love that the bridesmaids are wearing different colored dresses too. They look like they are having a great day on the lake. :)

    I agree with the other comments posted here. These are really lovely photos. The color muted colors of the dresses in the surrounding make this photos fine art worthy. Really nice job.
