Engagement sessions are a favorite of mine…all of them. I believe our lives are anchored with relationships. Of course of those, there are many types. The bond of a father to daughter…man and wife, two old friends and even that of wedding photographer and client. They are of course all different but all worthy of respect with the nurturing aspect of time. I value engagement sessions because they begin the foundation of trust that I need to delivery my best photography to my clients. These things matter.
I met Anisha and Chet last evening for the first time. As far as my photography relationships go, this was a bit of a blind date. Anisha saw a blog post about my engagement sessions on the Brides of North Texas web site and contacted me from there. We are doing things in reverse of the normal progression, engagement session last night and discuss wedding plans next week. I dig it…it was exciting. I think the blind date went well and I hope they do too.
Their engagement celebration party was last night and we met about an hour before the guests were due. We hit the ground running as if we had done it before. I enjoyed the relaxed flow of our time together and hope your party was as amazing as you deserve. Sorry I couldn’t stay for the food!
